How long does it take to update entered data?

I enter a lot of data through the web screens. Sometimes there appears to be a delay before the expected change occurs on the phone; other times it is instantaneous. How long does it take for changes to take affect (programming phone keys and so forth). Similarly, how long do changes made on the phone take to be visible on the web (logging out, logging into call groups, and so forth)?

Data or configuration changes made through the web are transferred as quickly as possible to the phone. Similarly, changes made through the phone are transferred as quickly as possible to the web. However, there are two scenarios that may delay the process.

• If there is a very high call volume, the system delays the updates. The system needs to ensure that all phone calls are processed first.
• Changes to the calling behavior of a phone or user cannot be made until the phone or user is idle (not on a call). Otherwise, unpredictable behavior is possible.
