Phone display shows "Waiting for Link"?

The phone displays:

MAIN x.xx BOOT x.xx
Waiting For LINK

or

Lost Link to Server
Waiting For LINK

The following reasons are possible:

  1. The phone has lost its IP connection. Check the LAN connection in the back of the phone. If this is the problem, fix the connection.
  2. Part of your LAN has lost its connection. If this is the case, you will see the same problem on other phones as well. Fix your LAN problem.
  3. Your phone may be defective. Try pluging another phone to the same connection.  If the replacemnet phone works, contact UniVoIP's Technical Support team.
  4. Your Wide Area Network (WAN) link to UniVoIP may be down.  Contact UniVoIP's Technical Support team.
