Why am I hearing an echo on the line?
Echo can originate from a number of sources. The following are the most common causes:
- The other party in the call is using a poor quality phone. The echo could originate in that phone. Ask the caller to try using a different phone.
- The echo could be caused somewhere in the public telephone network. If the problem persists, contact UniVoIP's Technical Support team.
- The other party could be calling via satellite. Satellite links cause large delays which can then cause echo. Ask the other party to make the call again.
