Why can't I receive calls on my phone?
There are five possible reasons:
There may be something wrong with your phone set. When you are not on a call, the display should look like the display below. If this is not the case, you need to troubleshoot your phone.

Your phone has been forwarded to another number. Check for a key on your phone with its associated lamp turned on. If the label beside the key says forwarding, press the key to turn forwarding off. If there is no label beside the key, log in to the your web administration page, select My Phone from the left menu. The web display should show if the key in question is programmed for call forwarding.
Incoming call routing has not been set to your extension or the incoming routing does not apply to the current time of day. If you expect to receive directly dialled calls at your extension (not calls directed by the auto attendant), your company's incoming call routing must be configured for this. Contact your company's phone administrator to configure this.
Your company has exceeded its Admission Control limit. If too many people at your site are engaged in external calls at the same time, then the link to the external phone network might be full. The system manages the number of calls and prevents too many calls from using the link. If this is the case, call coverage to voice mail or an external number will still work. Also, you should still be able to make extension calls to your own location.
All line appearances are in use. Each phone has a number of line appearances. Once all of these are in use, the phone cannot receive any more calls (If you have call coverage configured, then calls will go to your call coverage). To determine the number of line appearances on your phone, log in to your web administration page and select My Phone from the left menu. The web display should show which keys are configured as line appearances. If all of those keys are currently in use, then you will be unable to receive any more incoming calls.
