Why don't my lamps or lights work?

The following are possible reasons:

  1. You may not have power to your phone. If this is the case, your LCD display will be blank. Make sure that the power cord is connected properly to a power source and to the phone. Also make sure that the Ethernet cable isproperly connected to a local area network and to the phone.
  2. The lamp or light may be defective. If a light or lamp is defective, contcat the support team to have the phone fixed.
  3. The associated memory key may be unassigned. Keys that are unassigned will typically see their lamp remaining off when you press them. To see if a key is programmed, follow these steps:
    1. Log in to the web administration page.
    2. Select My Phone from the left menu. The LED Memory Key assignments will be displayed. Note that you can change the key assignments by clicking on the Program Memory Keys button.
  4. Some lamps will turn on only after you have confirmed the use of a function. For example, you may push a key that has been programmed to make you a member of a call group. Pressing the key will not immediately turn on the lamp - you will first be asked to confirm that you want to join the group. When you press the softkey associated with Yes, the lamp for the group key will be turned on.
