Respondents held IT management titles such as CIO, CTO, VP of IT, IT manager, or IT director. 4 in 10 respondents were from large companies with 1,000 or more employees. **Survey Results**: **TOP BENEFITS OF CLOUD COMPUTING** 1. Greater scalability 2. Higher performance 3. Better and/or faster access to technology resources 4. Cost savings 5. Faster time to market 6. Improved business continuity 7. Increased IT staff efficiency 8. Improved employee productivity 9. Shift of cost allocation from capex to opex 10. Expanded geographic reach > A general trend toward obtaining more IT services from the cloud is also evident in the results. Two years ago, only 20% of respondents predicted that they would get half or more of IT services from the cloud.
