UniVoIP took part in in CBS’s “eye on the Environment” event held June 15th on the CBS Studio Center lot in Studio City, California. The sound stage that housed the event was the largest on the lot and was when Seinfeld was filmed for 10 years.
The event drew executives and managers from throughout the CBS family from both coasts. About 50 Green vendors in fields such as communications, solar power generation, eco-friendly industrial products, promotional/branded items, and select non-profits attended. UniVoIP set up three working Mitel phones active on its OfficeConnect Hosted PBX system, showing attendees how Teleworker functionality can help them reduce costs and carbon emissions. The Mitel phones displayed were made in an ISO 14001-certified factory and are 65% recyclable. UniVoIP was the only phone system vendor there and received a lot of interest from the CBS attendees as well as vendors who are in need of a new phone system and wanted to go with our cutting-edge Green solution, OfficeConnect.
